Subcontractor agreement

Basin Water Systems · subcontractor agreement · v2026-10-10

  1. 1. Independent contractor. You work as an independent subcontractor, not an employee of Basin Water Systems. You choose which jobs to take, use your own tools and vehicle, and handle your own taxes.
  2. 2. License and insurance. You keep an active Utah plumbing license and general liability insurance the whole time you take our jobs, and send us a current certificate. Tell us right away if either lapses.
  3. 3. Jobs and pay. We offer jobs at the flat rate shown on each job. Accepting a job means showing up at the booked time. We pay within 7 days of a finished install. Basin Water Systems buys the equipment; you install it.
  4. 4. Workmanship. You install to code and the manufacturer's instructions, and follow the job sheet's checklist and photos. For 1 year after an install, you fix problems caused by your workmanship at no charge.
  5. 5. Our customers. Customers we send you are Basin Water Systems's customers. Don't sell them other products or services, or take them on directly, for 12 months after a job. Keep their information private.
  6. 6. Ending it. Either side can stop working together anytime. Jobs you've already accepted still get finished or handed back with enough notice for us to reschedule.
  7. 7. Signing online. Checking the box and typing your name is your signature, the same as signing on paper. We keep a record of when you signed.
