Built for Utah County water

Utah has some of the hardest water in the country

Our mountain aquifers run through limestone, so the water at your tap carries a lot of calcium and magnesium. That's the crust on your faucets, the spots on your glasses, and the scale inside your water heater.

Sized for Utah

Big enough for our water

Many installers put in 32,000-grain units, which run short on Utah water and regenerate every few days. Ours start at 64,000 grain, so they work less and last longer.

Questions, answered

Which package do I need?+

If spots and scale are the problem, Soft Water covers it. Add drinking water if you want filtered water at the kitchen sink. Go Complete if your water tastes or smells like chlorine. The package builder above recommends one in about 30 seconds.

Why 64,000 grain, and when do I need 80,000?+

Utah water is hard enough that common 32,000-grain units regenerate every few days. 64,000 grain fits most households. Homes with 5+ people or 4+ bathrooms get an 80,000-grain unit so it isn't working overtime.

Do I need a softener loop?+

Most newer Utah homes have one already: a pre-plumbed spot, usually near the water heater or in the garage. If yours doesn't, it can still be done. We'll quote the extra plumbing on the call.

When can you install?+

Usually within 1–2 weeks of your call. The install itself typically takes a few hours.

When do I pay?+

Nothing is due until your install date is confirmed. We'll go over payment options on the call.

Who does the installation?+

A licensed Utah plumber. You'll know who's coming and when before install day.

What maintenance does it need?+

Add softener salt every month or two, and swap filters about once a year. We'll show you how at install and can remind you when filters are due.

Can you refill the salt for me?+

Yes. Add salt refills and we'll come back about every 6–8 weeks, pour in two bags of salt, and give your system a quick check. It's $49 per refill, salt included. No subscription; skip or cancel anytime.

Where do you install?+

Utah County: Provo, Orem, Lehi, American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Lindon, Vineyard, Highland, Alpine, Saratoga Springs, Eagle Mountain, Springville, Mapleton, Spanish Fork, Payson.
